I study magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). In my research, I work on computational techniques for enabling ultra-high field imaging and renal arterial spin labelling. For fun, I like to come up with ways to make art with/inspired by NMR/I, and communicate it to the public.
"Outreach"
MRI is a really impactful technology (now you can see my insides without traumatising either of us!), but it is very poorly understood by the general public. I like to give talks/facilitate workshops that go some way to explaining MRI to a non-specialist audience, using a craft activity to illustrate the basic physics.

Interactive illustrations
Some (very scrappy) web simulations I've made for illustrating NMR and MRI. These don't currently work unless you're me, I need to develop them more.
