Now

A digital photo-collage of a bunch of my phone pictures from November. There's a lot going on. On the left we have a wicker floormat with a wriggly pattern of rope. To the right there's a zinc-plated lamppost with a colourful one-eyed monster drawn on it. Beneath that, a plastic giraffe, and beneath that a distorted mirror-photo of me. To the left, over the mat is a picture of me standing proud in a long black skirt and patterned shawl, and above that is a purple-and-cyan band being woven, and above that the head of a white dog looking kind of crazy. Over in the centre of the collage there's a giant Italian sandwich and superimposed on that is a smaller Christmas sandwich. Held over the Italian sandwich is an orange and white triangle thingy, it's a clicky fidget toy. There's also a couple of horses and a concert stage; a projector with code, a drumkit and a mridangam drum. Over on the right is a blurry photo of me dancing with street signs superimposed on my hands and hips. One says 'Don't forget to remember', another says 'move to the music' and a third says 'everything is different now' but is difficult to read. Above that whole thing is a photo of me with my tongue out making the death-metal bull, and two photos of knit swatches. Phew!

In November I...

Among other things...

Physics lectures, gatecrashed philosophy seminars, went on some nice long walks, watched Bake-off, attended Quaker meetings, lots of other meetings, finished a stressful project, had a bring and share lunch, attended a Quaker focus group(?), saw a concert, lots of volunteering, did a powerpoint night (learned about Henri Bergson), continued applying for PhDs, delivered training sessions, attended training sessions, met a friend in Sheffield and ate a delicious sandwich, protested outside of Barclays (switch your bank!), went to Sheffield like 5 times, visited York with my mum and brother, saw the trains, learned about chocolate, attended a candlelit Advent mass and made friends with a Polish family.

Next month......last month.
