Hi! I'm Mags. Nice to meet you :) I'm a student physicist, tinkerer and experimenter based in the East Midlands. You will find various things if you poke around on this website.
Things I know how to do (not a CV):
I know how to do a decent number of things. I can be persuaded to teach/do them for you if you pay me either in kind (you show me how to do something I don't know how to do), a meal, or for money (last resort). I used to work as a tutor/people regularly tell me I'm pretty good at explaining/teaching stuff, so I like to think I can make this work for us! I think this could be a fun way to meet new people and destroy capitalism at the same time.
- Do/with: Cook yummy vegan meals and bake delicious vegan baked goods
- Do/teach: Python, PHP, HTML scripting and basic-to-moderate system administration (I host this website and various other webservices that I use myself!)
- Teach: A-level and GCSE maths, further maths, physics and chemistry
- Do/with: physics (wanna understand something? I can dive into the research and work out what's going on, and then we can learn about it together)
- Do: Manage my time! I do lots of things, and I do do them!
- Do/with: basic woodwork
- Do/with: climb indoors (top rope and lead)
- Do/teach: make, mend and alter clothing and other textiles. Sew by hand and with a machine.
- Do: play bass guitar and accordion
